Tether Insights, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the information of our customers and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and what rights you have. By using our Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1.1  Account Information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, company name, and account credentials.

1.2  Payment and Billing Information. We collect billing address and payment method information to process your subscription. Full payment card numbers are collected and stored by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We retain only limited transactional data (e.g., last four digits, card type, expiration date) necessary to manage your account.

1.3  Usage Data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including features used, queries entered, Output generated, session duration, and device and browser information.

1.4  Communications. If you contact us for support or other inquiries, we retain records of that correspondence.

1.5  Cookies and Tracking Technologies. We use cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service, authenticate users, and analyze usage patterns. You may control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

1.6  Feedback and Voluntary Submissions. If you voluntarily submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas, we collect that information. As noted in the Terms, such Feedback becomes the property of the Company.

2. What We Do Not Collect

The Company does not collect, store, or process personally identifiable information ("PII") belonging to individuals who appear in third-party social platform content (e.g., Reddit users whose posts or comments are analyzed by the Service). Our social listening processes are limited to publicly available conversational content, topics, and signals on an aggregate or anonymized basis. We do not build profiles of, identify, or target individual social media users.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account;

• Process subscription payments and send transactional communications (receipts, renewal notices, payment failures);

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;

• Configure keyword searches and data-gathering parameters based on your brand, product, and industry information;

• Respond to your support requests and communications;

• Send service-related notices and, where you have opted in, marketing communications;

• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms;

• Comply with applicable legal obligations, including DMCA takedown procedures;

• Conduct analytics to understand usage patterns and improve the Service;

• Use voluntarily submitted Feedback to develop and improve the Service.

4. Lawful Basis for Processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following lawful bases:

• Contract Performance: Processing necessary to fulfill our subscription agreement (account management, billing, Service delivery).

• Legitimate Interests: Fraud prevention, security, and Service improvement, where our interests do not override your rights.

• Legal Obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable law.

• Consent: Where we rely on consent (e.g., marketing emails), you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

5. AI Training Data Disclosure (California AB 2013)

Pursuant to California AB 2013, effective January 1, 2026, the following is a high-level summary of the data used in the development and operation of our AI-driven features:

• The AI components of the Service process publicly available social conversation data obtained through third-party data providers and aggregators. This data consists of publicly posted text content on platforms such as Reddit.

• The Company does not knowingly incorporate datasets that include PII, copyrighted literary works, or synthetic data into its primary AI processing pipeline.

• The Company's AI processes are designed to analyze conversational tone, topics, sentiment, and language patterns — not to identify or profile individual persons.

6. Data Sources Disclosure

The Service uses publicly available social conversation data obtained through licensed or publicly accessible third-party data providers and aggregators. This data consists of publicly posted content on platforms such as Reddit (accessed via aggregators such as Brave) and, in the future, other platforms. We do not store data in a manner intended to identify, track, or profile individual users of those platforms. All such data is used solely to generate AI-driven marketing Output for our customers.

The legal landscape governing publicly available data collection is evolving. Significant litigation — including platform actions against data collection companies — may affect our ability to access specific data sources in the future. We cannot guarantee the continued availability of any specific source.

7. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors helping us operate the Service, including payment processors, cloud hosting providers, email delivery services, and analytics providers. These vendors are contractually bound to use your information only as directed by us.

• Legal Requirements and DMCA: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or comply with legal process, including DMCA takedown procedures.

• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

• With Your Consent: We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information and associated data for as long as your account is active, and for twelve (12) months following cancellation to enable account reactivation. After this period, we will delete or anonymize your personal data unless required to retain it for legal, compliance, or dispute resolution purposes. Payment records may be retained longer as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

Social platform content processed by the Service is not stored in a form attributable to you or to identifiable third-party individuals.

Upon discovery that an account was created by a minor (under 18), we will terminate the account and delete associated personal data promptly, except where retention is required to comply with law.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.

• Portability: Request your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.

• Restriction: Request that we restrict processing in certain circumstances.

• Withdrawal of Consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell personal information. California residents may also request disclosure of the categories of third parties with whom we share personal information.

10. Jurisdictional AI Law Compliance

The Company operates in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment for artificial intelligence. We are aware of, and monitor developments in, the following frameworks that may affect how our Service is used:

• EU AI Act (in effect with phased enforcement through August 2026 and beyond): Customers in the EU or serving EU users should assess whether their use of AI-generated advertising Output triggers any transparency, disclosure, or registration obligations under the EU AI Act.

• Colorado AI Act: Colorado residents and businesses should assess their obligations under Colorado's AI consumer protection legislation.

• California AB 2013 and SB 942: California-based customers or those serving California residents should review obligations regarding AI training data disclosure and AI content labeling.

The Company makes no representation or warranty that the Service, as used by the Customer, complies with any AI-specific law or regulation in any jurisdiction. It is the Customer's sole responsibility to determine whether their use of the Service and any Output is lawful in their jurisdiction.

11. International Data Transfers

The Company is based in Colorado, USA. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. Where required by applicable law (e.g., GDPR), we will implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

12. Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

13. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. We do not knowingly permit minors to register for or use the Service. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a person under 18, we will promptly terminate that account and delete the associated personal data, except where retention is required by law. 14. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice within the Service at least fourteen (14) days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
